Samsung is currently looking for a Senior Project Construction Manager with an electric and/or civil engineering background to work on the construction of the Solar/BESS/Interconnection Project. The project is located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. The Operations Coordinator, Whitla Wind is accountable to the Whitla Site Manager and is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in carrying out site duties and activities at the Whitla Wind Facility in Alberta. These duties include subcontractor management, supporting on-site inspection, planning, coordination, and oversight of overall operations at the Whitla Wind site and other western Canadian Renewables sites as required.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Renewables (Canada) the Manager, Solar Canada will be responsible for refining and implementing a Solar O&M program at sites in Canada and is on site Capital Power representation to oversee and manage contractors required to operate and maintain solar sites , including the main O&M contractor. The Manager, Solar Canada is accountable for site safety, profit and loss, planning, coordination, and management of operations at Canadian solar facilities for Capital Power, Strathmore AB (40MW) and Enchant AB (75MW) sites, both being constructed currently.

With minimal supervision from higher level technical and/or management staff, the Technician I utilizes skills and training to perform maintenance and/or installation work on assigned wind turbines at an intermediate level.  The Technician I will follow defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, turbine service and/or installation processes, and other verbal and written instruction and may make initial diagnosis of more basic or routine turbine issues. The Technician I is regarded as an “intermediate-level” team member on the technician team, which may provide mentorship to entry level technicians.

Capstone Infrastructure Corporation is seeking a Development Manager, to work with the Development Team in Canada based in either Toronto, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta.  Reporting to the Vice President, Development, the Development Manager will support the development of wind, solar and battery projects from greenfield or early project phase through to NTP.  The ideal candidate will have a background in the renewable energy sector in Canada, and with strong experience with management of land acquisition, environmental assessment, permitting, and resource assessment.
