Do you want to work in renewables?

Renewable energy workers are highly skilled, with important foundational knowledge, technology-specific training, and skills that meet high safety standards. 

There are many educational and training programs available at Canadian educational institutions that can help you gain the skills and competencies needed to work in Canada’s booming wind, solar and energy storage industries. 

These opportunities include apprenticeship programs, technologist and technician programs, engineering programs and renewable-specific training programs. 

CanREA is committed to collating these opportunities and making them available for free to students and professionals working in other industries. This project is part of CanREA’s National Workforce Strategy, which aims to increase public awareness of the career opportunities in renewables, and to reduce the barriers to entry for job candidates.
