In this webinar, the lead author of CanREA’s new whitepaper, “Laying the Foundation: Six priorities for supporting the decarbonization of Canada’s electricity grid with energy storage,” presented CanREA’s perspective on what is required to advance energy storage in Canada.
Laying the Foundation follows up on fundamental points made in CanREA’s 2050 Vision document, Powering Canada’s Journey to Net-Zero, which demonstrates that energy storage is one of the vital elements for creating the clean and reliable electricity grid of the future.
This webinar provided key information on the diversity and flexibility of energy-storage technologies and introduce CanREA’s six priorities for facilitating the deployment of energy storage in electricity markets across Canada.
