The Canadian Renewable Energy Association would like to thank everyone who came out to the most recent in-person “CanREA Connects” networking reception in Regina on May 17.

The networking event brought together more than 60 energy-sector innovators, business leaders and influencers with an interest in growing the wind energy, solar and energy-storage sectors in Saskatchewan.

It was a remarkable evening, filled with lively discussion around the exciting new growth and opportunities for renewable energy in Western Canada.

Did you know that Western Canada accounted for 98% of Canada’s total renewable energy (wind and solar) growth of 1.8 GW in 2022? Saskatchewan has seen significant growth in renewables and has an ambitious goal of 3GW by 2035!
