The Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA) is proud to launch a new conference series this spring. Each CanREA Summit will be unique, offering a deep, focused and specialized dive into topics relevant to a particular region of Canada, such as energy storage in Alberta, achieving carbon neutrality in Quebec and financing the development of renewable energy across Canada.
The Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA) hosted the first-ever Net-Zero Quebec—CanREA Summit, in Montreal on May 14. This full-day conference was the event of the year for Quebec’s exciting renewable energy and energy storage sector.
With a turnout of over 150 attendees, it was evident there are many people in the industry ready to work towards achieving Quebec’s energy transition and Quebec’s net-zero targets by 2050.
Net-Zero Quebec served as a hub for discussions on important topics, such as:
Spearheading the energy transition with sustainable investments
Combatting climate change through government incentives
Implementing Hydro-Québec’s Action Plan 2035 to procure as much as 200 TWh of renewable energy by 2050
Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
Achieving net-zero in Quebec’s buildings, industry and transportation sector
With expert presentations, exhibitions and effective networking opportunities, this unique Summit became a key event for Quebec’s renewable energy and energy storage industry. Net-Zero Quebec was also the perfect prelude to CanREA’s networking reception, CanREA Connects—Quebec. See the event recap and photo album here.
Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are available for other CanREA events.
